KNOSK Launches Low-Cost Education Innovation Lab and 2026 Education Innovation Fellowship in Abuja
KNOSK School, the pioneering N100‑a‑Day Charity Secondary School, is proud to announce the launch of the KNOSK Low-Cost Education Innovation Lab (KLEILab) alongside its Education Innovation Fellowship 2026. This groundbreaking initiative is designed to empower young innovators, educators, and changemakers to develop, pilot, and scale solutions that address key challenges in secondary education across Nigeria.
The Education Innovation Fellowship is a six-month, hands-on program that offers participants the opportunity to work directly within a functioning low-cost school environment. Fellows will engage with students, teachers, and the broader school community to test innovative ideas in pedagogy, educational technology, and low-cost learning models.
Participants in the fellowship will benefit from:
- A monthly stipend to support living expenses,
- Project funding to develop and pilot solutions,
- Free accommodation and workspace,
- Mentorship from experienced educators and industry leaders,
- Access to KNOSK’s classrooms to pilot innovations in real-life settings,
- A culminating public demo day to showcase successful projects and attract potential partners for scaling.
This fellowship reflects KNOSK’s commitment to redefining affordable, high-quality education in Nigeria by combining innovation with direct community engagement. It provides a platform for creative thinkers to co-create practical solutions for the educational challenges faced by underserved children and youth.
Founders’ Vision
KNOSK School was established in 2019 by Irene Bangwell and Kingsley Bangwell with the vision of making quality education accessible to all children, regardless of economic background. Since its inception, the school has implemented the N100-a-Day model, serving children from low-income households through a combination of affordable tuition, action-based learning, and community support.
